What is the thickness difference of the magnetic products?

The 20 mil (.020") magnet is typically used for indoor applications, the 30 mil (.030") magnet is stronger and used for outdoor applications such as vehicle magnets and the 60 mil (.060") and 120 mil (.120") magnets are the strongest magnet strengths we offer and can be used for a variety of applications including industrial applications.

How thick is a mil?

One mil is .001". Standard copy paper is approximately 4 mil in thickness and the 20 mil magnet would be about the thickness of 5 sheets of paper.

What is the mil thickness tolerance?

The mil thickness tolerance is +/- 2 mil. Magnet product defects are less than 1%.

What is the sheet tolerance for cut sheets?

The sheet tolerance is 1/32nd of an inch (.0325").

Will the inkjet printable magnet work in my printer?

Inkjet printable magnet will work in most inkjet printers regardless of make or model.
Magnets work better in gravity fed printers or printers that feed paper straight through the printer. Please refer to the printer's owner manual for printer specs and capabilities. The inkjet printable magnet is not made for use in laser printers or any copiers. The magnet will damage laser printers and copiers.
